Two Chinese men were remanded in custody on Saturday, accused of laundering more than £250,000 of criminal cash.
Appearing in the dock of Belfast Magistrates Court with an interpreter, 33-year-old Fei Luo and Wei Fu Wang (29) were jointly charged with five charges of transferring, concealing, converting and possessing criminal property amounting to a total of £288,000 on dates between January 3 and 18 this year.
Luo, with an address at Mountjoy Square in Dublin, is further charged with possessing class B cannabis and having it with intent to supply on Friday.
Luo and Wang, whose address was simply noted as Monaghan, were arrested by police from the Organised Crime Branch after suspect packages sent from England were intercepted at two Newtownabbey Post Offices and found to contain a total of £60,000.
The remainder of the money as well as the drugs were uncovered during follow-up searches of property associated with the two.
No bail applications were lodged on Saturday and the pair were remanded into custody to appear again via videolink on February 15.
