The Donegall Road at Roden Street in south Belfast was closed due to an ongoing protest on Monday evening over the removal of the Union flag at Belfast City Hall, police have said.
A protest is also due to take place on Monday at 6pm at Shaftsbury Square.
The Crumlin Road at Hesketh Park was also closed due to a protest on Monday evening.
A protest is also due to take place in Maghera on Monday.
Protests have been taking place since the removal of the Union flag from Belfast City Hall on December.
Some of the protests have been followed by violence.
Unionist politicians have urged protesters to call of their demonstrations.
