Local independent bookmaker Sean Grahams has unveiled plans for a new extended King Street/Castle Street outlet in Belfast city centre representing an investment of £1m.
The bookmakers, which operates 30 sites across Northern Ireland already has an established business on King Street and has obtained planning permission to extend the premises onto a Castle Street frontage.
In putting a design in place Sean Grahams commissioned a review of the most up to date betting businesses in the UK and Ireland and they now have plans for a unique ‘Future Vision’ concept for Belfast city centre. This will include touch screen self-service terminals, a range of themed sports viewing areas showing live action, a zoned refreshment area and areas for groups to meet and enjoy betting, from around the globe, together. There will also be extra floor walking staff to ensure delivery of the best service.
General Manager Chris Deery said: “Our extended King Street / Castle Street Future Vision concept shop will be a unique place in Northern Ireland where friends and work colleagues can meet for light refreshments, place a bet and watch their sport live for that new and fun betting experience.”
It is anticipated that the extended betting business will open towards the end of 2013.
