A VOTE will take place this week on whether the Church of England should allow women to become bishops.
While there is some strong support from high profile figures including the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury and his successor Rt Rev Justin Welby, there is also opposition from those with a more traditional view.
Twenty years ago the Church voted to allow females to become priests.
