Men, aided by two dogs, hijacked a Post Office can in the Springfield area of west Belfast yesterday morning.
Shortly after 11.10am two men with a German Shepherd and a Staffie type dog forced the driver from the van. One of the men made off in the van in the direction of the Falls Road area, whilst the other man made off on foot in the direction of the Springfield Road junction.
The male driver of the van has sustained injuries to his legs. He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
