A SUSPICIOUS device has been found near a school in Belfast on Monday morning.
Police and Army Technical Officers are at the scene at Ballymagarry Lane close to Springhill Primary School in north Belfast.
Pupils at Springhill PS, and nearby Springfield, Harmony and Forthriver schools have been advised to stay indoors while the security operation is carried out.
A number of homes in the area have been evacuated and Ballymagerry Lane is closed at the junctions to Ballygomartin Road and Lyndhurst Park.
Police said parents wishing to access the schools will not be able to go via the Ballygomartin road but can access them via the Springmartin road.
