POLICE investigating the sale and supply of so-called ‘legal highs’ have arrested two men in Belfast.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch arrested the pair, aged 31 and 58, following searches of commercial premises in North Street and Donegall Street on Wednesday afternoon.
A number of items were removed from the premises and have been sent for forensic examination.
According to the PSNI, the arrests are part of an on-going operation into the supply of Class B drugs.
The 31-year-old has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service while the 58-year-old has been released on bail to attend a police station at a later date.
